Lloyd James Austin III was appointed minister of defense in the Biden junta. He previously served as fall guy for the Obama administration's disastrous Syrian regime change policy.[2] Austin reported to Congress that after 6 months and spending $500 million, the supposed Free Syrian Army had recruited 5 guys.[3][4] The 5 guys in reality were 5 arms traffickers in Switzerland supplying weapons to the Islamic State.[5]

Austin is an active member of the military industrial complex and served on the Board of Raytheon, a defense contractor, prior to rejoining the civil service system.[6] Within 3 weeks of occupying the position of defense chief, Raytheon was awarded a $49 million contract by the Pentagon.[7] Austin walked away from Raytheon weeks earlier with a $1.7 million bonus and retirement package.[8] Austin served on the Board of Nucor, a supplier of steel to Oshkosh Defense, which is producing 50,000 Humvee replacements. Austin ordered the abandonment of 22,174 taxpayer-funded Humvees in Afghanistan.[9] Over 220 retired Generals and Admirals called for Austin's resignation over his incompetent performance of duties during the planning and operation of the withdrawal from Afghanistan.[10] Billions of dollars worth the most state-of-the-art military equipment were turned over to the Taliban, a brutal and barbaric terrorist group, and thousands of Americans were left at their mercy.

Gen. Xu Qiliang, vice-chair of the Central Military Commission and a member of the Politburo Standing Committee who is the CCP’s most senior military officer, refused to meet with Austin, his counterpart and America's first African American defense minister.[11]

Politicization of the military

See also: Long march through the institutions

One of Austin's first actions was to order a 60 day nationwide stand down across all service branches to root out Trump voters, euphemistically referred to as "extremists". The junta attempted to identify military personnel who exercised their First Amendment right to peacefully assemble on January 6, 2020. In a Pentagon briefing with reporters, Ramón "CZ" Colón-López, the senior enlisted adviser to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said that some troops have asked, when the January 6, 2021 riot is brought up, "How come you're not looking at the situation that was going on in Seattle prior to that?" "This is coming from every echelon that we're talking to," he added.[12]

Marxist indoctrination

On May 14, 2021, Lt Col. Matthew Lohmeier, a commander in the United States Space Force, was relieved of command for criticizing Marxist ideology.[13][14][15] Lohmeier said the Biden junta is teaching in the military that patriotism is evil.[16][17] In May 2021 over 200 retired generals and admirals issued a letter that stated that the United States is facing the “greatest danger to our constitutional Republic since 1776.”

The Committee to Support and Defend, led by LTC Allen West (ret.), issued a letter in June 2021 signed by over 1,000 military veterans that stated that as veterans, they are still morally and ethically bound to protect our Constitution and country. They wrote:

As such, we put our nation’s leadership on notice. We believe that the hard left turn toward Socialism and Marxism endangers our citizens and the future of this great nation…We are disgusted by the dismantling of the rule of law in our great country. We never thought we would see the return to Vietnam-style disdain for public service. Unfortunately, this disregard and disrespect is corrosive and will lead to dangerous situations for citizens and law enforcement.[18]

Witch hunt for Islamophobes

After the September 11, 2001 terror attacks, many young Patriots rushed to defend their country. The Marxist Biden junta began a witch hunt to root out alleged Islamophobes. The junta dismantled counterterrorism programs and replaced them with Countering Violent Extremism (CVE).

In Biden’s group of outside contractors, the Countering Extremism Working Group (CEWG), several appeared at events for CAIR, ICNA, and other terror-linked organizations. Some appeared at events featuring advocates for Islamic terrorism, sharia, and violence against non-Muslims. The list consists almost entirely of organizations and individuals who supported Biden's election coup. The group is tasked with dismantling CVE and siccing Islamist activists and their lawyers on the military to implement a ruthless purge of American soldiers.

Frontpagemag reported[19] that many personnel are from the discredited Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) including Heidi Beirich.

At the start of the Obama administration, Hina Shamsi was fighting on behalf of the Holy Land Foundation whose leaders had been convicted of providing material support to Hamas. As the head of the ACLU’s National Security Project, Shamsi, fought fiercely for the Islamic terrorists at Guantanamo Bay. In addition to Shamsi, there’s fellow Pakistani ACLU activist: Manar Waheed.

Faiza Patel co-wrote an article arguing against designating the Muslim Brotherhood as a foreign terrorist organization (FTO). In another co-written article, Faiza Patel claimed that laws against Sharia were Islamophobic.

The list includes Wael Alzayat in his role as the CEO of Emgage. The national co-chair and founding member of the Islamic group is Khurrum Wahid who has been described as one of the country’s most prominent terror lawyers and whose clients include an Al Qaeda operative who plotted to kill President George W. Bush and Sami al-Arian who was linked to Islamic Jihad. Wahid had been placed on a terrorist watch list and Emgage, as counterterrorism researcher Joe Kaufman noted, "holds events at terror-linked mosques”: including one founded by al-Arian. Emgage's board includes Dhabah ‘Debbie’ Almontaser who was forced out of her old job over t-shirts reading “Intifada NYC”. Nada al Hanooti, Emgage's Executive Director for Michigan, is the daughter of Muthanna al Hanooti, a former CAIR leader who was accused of working for Saddam Hussein and Iraq's intelligence agency.

Also on the list of Biden's CEWG partners is Iman Boukadoum, the staff attorney for the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC). The ADC has a long history of defending and excusing Islamic terrorism. "I know many people in Hamas. They are very respectable," its former president Hamzi Moghrabi had said. Former ADC president Hussein Ibish called Hezbollah “a disciplined and responsible liberation force” whose members “conducted themselves in an exemplary manner.” Boukadoum was most recently hard at work fighting for Abdelhaleem Ashqar, who had been convicted of obstruction of justice in a case involving the flow of money to Hamas. Ashqar ran for president of the Palestinian Authority while awaiting trial in the United States. He had argued that the evidence against him had come from a time when “Hamas was not designated as a terrorist organisation” and boasted that, “they wanted me to testify against my people. I said I'd rather die than betray my commitment to freedom and justice for Palestine."

JEDI contract

Under Austin, the Pentagon canceled a $10-billion ‘JEDI’ cloud-computing contract with Microsoft in July 2021 and handed it back to tech giant Amazon, which had sued after President Trump took it away from Amazon in 2019.[20] Weeks earlier, Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband, who handles the families finances, bought $1 million in Amazon call options.[21]

Domestic political surveillance

In July 2021 The Washington Times reported,

"Austin recently approved the Capitol Police’s request for eight Persistent Surveillance Systems Ground – Medium (PSSG-M) units. The system provides high-definition surveillance video and is enabled with night vision. The system does not include facial recognition capabilities, according to the Pentagon.

“This technology will be integrated with existing USCP camera infrastructure, providing greater high definition surveillance capacity to meet steady-state mission requirements and help identify emerging threats,” the Pentagon said.

The technology, originally used by the U.S. troops during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, allows the user to monitor large areas 24/7 through extremely high-resolution cameras. [...]

In a wartime application, the persistent surveillance units were mounted on tethered blimps. The data could be stored, combined with sensor data from other platforms, and later referenced or rewound to track individuals or groups.

It could be used by the military to develop a “pattern of life” analysis on suspected enemy combatants or intelligence targets in war zones.[22]

Rape of Afghanistan

The U.S. military left the strategic Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan in the dead of night in early July 2021, leaving behind “thousands of civilian vehicles, including many that no longer had keys, and hundreds of armored military vehicles, such as Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles, or MRAPs…”[23] There are reports of the seizure by the Taliban of a “massive boon” of U.S. weapons supplied to and now abandoned by U.S.-trained Afghani soldiers. “The Taliban now find themselves flush with American-supplied tools, without having to raise a single penny.”[24]

During a press conference on August 18, 2021 at the Pentagon, Austin and woke Gen. Mark Milley admitted that several US aircraft flew out of the country during the 2021 Rape of Afghanistan. They think they were flown to Russian Federal Republics of Uzbekistan or Tajikistan, but they were not sure. Austin and Milley had no idea how many aircraft were taken.[25]

On August 18, 2021 NBC News reported that the U.S. was working with the Taliban to evacuate Americans and allies out of Afghanistan. Gen. Mark Milley stated, "Through the State Department, the Taliban are facilitating safe passage to the airport for American citizens, that is, U.S. passport holders." An exchange with a reporter and Austin went like this:

Kabul airport suicide bombing, August 26, 2021. 170 dead.[26]
Q: It seems to me like barring a lobotomy by the Taliban; you have three pathways ahead of you. One, you can expand the perimeter and establish a corridor into Kabul to get our Afghan allies out. Two, you could extend the August 31 deadline of withdrawing. Or three, you can just leave the tens of thousands of Afghans who've helped us over the past 20 years behind. Which one is it going to be?

SEC. AUSTIN: First of all, as I said, we're going to evacuate everybody that we can physically possibly evacuate. And we'll -- we'll conduct these -- this process for as long as we possibly can. We will continue to deconflict issues with -- with the Taliban. And we will stay focused on securing the -- the airfield. We cannot afford to either not defend that airfield or -- or -- or not have an airfield that secures where we have hundreds or thousands of civilians that can access the airfield at will and put our forces at risk.

Q: But that doesn't answer the question. I mean, you're still saying you're focused on the airfield. These -- these people can't get into the airfield.

SEC. AUSTIN: Well we're going to do everything we can to continue to try to deconflict and create passageways for them to get to the airfield. I don't have the capability to go out and extend operations currently into Kabul. And where do you take that? I mean, how far can you extend into Kabul, you know, and how long does it take to flow those forces in to be able to do that?

Q: So it sounds like you're saying this depends on diplomacy with the Taliban, that's it. That's our only option is getting them to agree to do this.[27]

Corporate boards

Austin also served on the Board of Nucor, a supplier of steel to companies that benefit from US military spending, including Oshkosh Defense, which is producing 50,000 Humvee replacements, and shipbuilder Huntington Ingalls Industries, whose work includes submarines and aircraft carriers.[28] Austin earned $275,000 in total compensation from Nucor the previous year.[29]
