Carl Gershman
Carl Gersham is a former head of the CIA's covert regime change operation, the National Endowment for Democracy.
The National Endowment for Democracy was set up in 1983 after the Church Committee hearings undermined both the credibility and the public image of the CIA. The organization was established as a cutout doing much of the CIA's dirtiest work. After Cold War I Gershman attempted to justify the NED's continued existence: "It would be terrible for democratic groups around the world to be seen as subsidized by the CIA."

On September 26, 2013 Gershman published an OpEd in The Washington Post calling for Ukraine's accession to EU and NATO, and declaring that for the US, "Ukraine is the biggest prize." A month later, on October 30, 2013, the Obama administration filed an arrest warrant against Dmitro Firtash residing in Vienna - one of the most powerful Ukrainian oligarchs and chief political patron of President Viktor Yanukovich. The lawfare attack was orchestrated by Hillary Clinton, Eric Holder and Victoria Nuland. Three days later, Nuland flew to Kiev for a meeting with Yanukovich. After their meeting, Nuland declared triumphantly that, "the President made it clear that Ukraine has made its choice and its choice is for Europe." The very next day, the extradition request for Firtash was dropped.
Belarus color revolution
In August 2020, following Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko's victory over opposition candidate Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, a Euromaidan-style color revolution was launched against Minsk. The former Soviet Republic has been a long-time target of the D.C.-based regime change lobby owing to Belarus being a Moscow ally, having highly nationalized state industries. The instalment of a pro-NATO regime would result in Russia's entire western border being composed solely of NATO-members and allies.[1]
Carl Gershman openly admitted to the NED's role behind to the 2020 unrest and subversion in Belarus.[2] Nazi apologist and Biden regime disinformation czar Nina Jankowicz managed “democracy assistance programs” to Belarus at the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs, a core CIA regime change NED front organization.[3]
