Obama war crimes in Libya

On March 21, 2011, President Obama publicly announced U.S. military forces commenced no fly-zone operations in Libya two days earlier, on March 19, "to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe" and cited UN Resolutions as giving him the authority to do so. Secretary of Defense Robert Gates warned establishment of a no-fly zone meant attacking Libya.[1] Officials such as National Security Advisor Tom Donilon and Deputy National Security Advisor Denis McDonough also opposed to attacking Libya; but Hillary Clinton, tossing her "smart power" doctrine to the wind, "won the bureaucratic battle to use Department of Defense resources to achieve what's essentially the State Department's objective... and Obama let it happen".[2] The Charter of the United Nations, in Article 2(4), prohibits the “threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence” of a member state, and many observers have wondered whether the establishment of a no-fly zone would constitute a violation of this prohibition. The Congressional Research Services advised that a no-fly zone imposed against a state that has not carried out an attack on its neighbors may consider the imposition of a no-fly zone an “armed attack.” CRS warned that even if no-fly zone operations in a given state do not constitute an “armed attack",

that state, and other members of the international community, might consider them a violation of the prohibition of the “threat or use of force,” as well as of the customary duty of non-intervention in the affairs of other sovereign states.

The Benghazi rebellion which resulted in the deaths of Americans started as a series of protests in eastern Libya on February 16, 2011. Ansar al-Shariah, an offshoot of Al-Qaida in the Maghreb (AQIM), vowed to overthrow secular strongman Muammar Gaddafi[3][4] and establish Sharia.

Abdel-Hakim al-Hasidi of the U.S. organized Libyan Fighting Group said jihadists who killed American troops in Iraq were now serving on the front lines in Libya.[5][6] On March 20, 2011, NATO's Supreme Allied Commander James Stavridis told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, days before President Obama publicly disclosed his decision to intervene, that US the intelligence community knew of al Qaeda and Hezbollah elements among the rebels.[7][8] Two days later a leaked email from Stravidis email to David Manners, business partner of Marc Turi who resigned as a congressional staffer to Sen. John McCain weeks earlier, discussed illegal weapons supply to the TNC per a Hillary Clinton State Department authorization.[9][10] Under the code name “Zero Footprint” Marc Turi drew up the original plan to coordinate the flow of weapons from the US through the intermediary of Qatar into Libya. Those weapons ended up in Libya and Syria destined for the hands of group that later called itself the Islamic State.[11]

Russiagate: Deep State coup 1.0

Alliance for Securing Democracy (ASD) formed by Democrat foreign policy hands and neocon Never Trumpers in Washington.[12] The outfit aims to expose how supposed Russian Twitter bots were infecting American political discourse with divisive narratives. The initiative was endorsed by John Podesta of the Center for American Progress.

ASD was sponsored by the German Marshall Fund, funded by Western governments. Its top two financial sponsors, at more than $1 million per year each, are the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the German Foreign Office (Auswärtiges Amt). The U.S. State Department also provides more than half a million dollars per year, as do the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development and the foreign affairs ministries of Sweden and Norway. It likewise receives at least a quarter of a million dollars per year from NATO.[13]

ASD'e advisory council consists of Michael Chertoff, David Kramer, Bill Kristol, Michael McFaul, Mike Morell, John Podesta, Michael J. Rogers, Kori Shake, Adm. James Stavridis, Jake Sullivan, Nicole Wong and others.

James Stavridis, who provided the inspiration for Essay: Russia's long history of many bitter, military defeats.

Zelensky regime

On March 26, 2022, on his trip to Poland, Biden, in a bravado, trying to impress, uttered some dangerous statements,[14][15] such as implying 'regime change' seeking in Russia. The WH worked frantically overtime to try to do some damage control.[16] Admiral James Stavridis, who took part in NATO's illegal war in Libya and arms smuggling to groups that became the Islamic State, said he would remember the speech "on NATO as a sacred obligation."[17] Biden aides and State Department officials said it was only a reference to placate and inflame Polish officials and the Polish people.[18] Not two months earlier European officials and critics were labeling the Polish government as totalitarian and fascist.[19]

On March 2, 2025 the London Telegraph reported former Supreme Allied Commander US Navy Four Star Admiral James Stavridis said that since the Trump administration made it clear that aid to Kyiv could become a "geopolitical miscalculation of colossal proportions....We may be witnessing the last days of NATO".[20]

Iran war

Stavridis said on CNN: the USS Abraham Lincoln has “80 combat aircraft, and you can move it right up to the coast.” Not only that, but there may soon be “long-range strategic bombers” going towards “the island of Diego Garcia” alongside “F-35 Lightings, the most advanced fifth generation fighter in the world, out of Doha, Qatar.” And more airpower could be coming. CENTCOM announced today on X that U.S. Air Forces Central (AFCENT) will be conducting a multi-day readiness exercise that could be used as a pretense to surge numerous other aircraft to the Middle East. Further bolstering U.S. firepower are newly arrived THAAD and Patriot missile batteries for air defense and four British Eurofighter Typhoon jets now in Qatar.

As Adm. Stavridis said, the gathered forces give “the president a lot of military capability and options” but there would still be risk should the U.S. decide to launch an attack. Analysts warns that Iranian drone swarms could threaten U.S. naval vessels, and both the Houthis and Kataib Hezbollah have pledged to join Iran in the event of war, with the latter group posting videos on social media dozens of fighters sworn to become suicide bombers.[21]

  8. Appearing before the Senate Armed Services Committee, Stavridis was asked by Republican Sen. James Inhofe to comment on "reports about the presence of al Qaeda among the rebels, among those with whom we are associated." "As you can imagine, we are examining very closely the content, composition, the personalities, who are the leaders in these opposition forces," Stavridis responded. "The intelligence that I am receiving at this point makes me feel that the leadership I am seeing are responsible men and women who are struggling against Colonel Gadhafi. We have seen flickers in the intelligence of potential al Qaeda, Hezbollah, we've seen different things, but at this point I don't have detail sufficient to say that there is a significant al Qaeda presence or any other terrorist presence in and among these folks. We'll continue to look at that very closely. It's part of doing due diligence as we move forward on any kind of relationship." http://cdrsalamander.blogspot.com/2011/03/saceur-j2-please-call-your-office.html
