Peter Cahill

Minnesota 4th District Court Position 32
Incumbent
Assumed office
May 30, 2007

Born 1958
United States of America

Peter Cahill (born 1958) is Judge of Hennepin County, who presided over the biased trial of Derek Chauvin and then absurdly sentenced Chauvin to 22 years in prison afterwards.

Cahill also sentenced the plainly innocent bystander police officer Tou Thou to 4 years and 9 months. In court Thou described his conversion to Christianity and confirmed, again, that he was innocent of the false accusations.

Cahill bristled at the religious faith by Thou, and Cahill arrogantly stated in court before abusing his power to impose the draconian sentence:

After three years of reflection, I was hoping for a little more remorse, regret, acknowledgement of some responsibility — and less preaching[1]

Harm to Minneapolis

The harm caused by Judge Cahill's one-sided rulings and sentences has been enormous to Minneapolis and the entire Twin Cities. By the end of 2022:

one does not have to be a statistician to see the problems. Walk through the once bustling skyway systems of downtown Minneapolis and downtown St. Paul (if you dare). Open drug use by vagrants, feces and urine-soaked corridors, vacant storefronts, and not a police officer to be found.[2]
