China
In Sullivan's 's first meeting with Communist Chinese bosses, Director of the CCP Central Foreign Affairs Commission Yang Jiechi instructed Sullivan and Anthony Blinken,
| “The United States does not have the qualification to say that it wants to speak to China from a position of strength.”[4] |
The Chinses Communists, who own the Biden family with a 90% share of their joint Bohai Harvest venture, then went on to play the race card against the cultural norms of the Democratic party, saying that Black people are being “slaughtered” in the United States.[5][6]
Former CIA analyst and National Security Council chief of staff Fred Fleitz said Sullivan and Blinken "were just virtue signaling before the lapdog American media. It was a serious mistake and it set back our policies and it made them look inept because they weren't ready for the counter attack by Chinese officials."[7]
Trump-Russia
After the 2016 Presidential election Sullivan took the lead along with Clinton Communications Director Jennifer Palmieri in briefing the press on the Trump-Russia collusion story.[8]
Arab Spring
During the Arab Spring uprisings, Sullivan emailed Clinton saying "Al Qaeda is on our side!"[9]
On September 3, 2011 Hillary Clinton directed her staff to document the case of Hillary's “brilliance” in providing leadership for the destabilization of Libya. Jake Sullivan wrote the Memorandum, "Secretary Clinton's leadership on Libya":
[Secretary Clinton] has been a critical voice on Libya in administration deliberations, at NATO, and in contact group meetings — as well as the public face of the U.S. effort in Libya. She was instrumental in securing the authorization, building the coalition, and tightening the noose around Qadhafi and his regime.[10]
A week earlier Sharia law was enshrined in the new draft Libyan Constitution,[11] and CBS News reported the indiscriminate killing of black people by US backed "Libyan rebels".[12]

I don't believe there's one business person. I don't believe there's one person who's ever run anything. Other than Vice President Biden, none of them have ever been elected to anything." Sec. Robert Gates criticized "staffers calling senior commanders out in the field and asking them questions, of second guessing commanders...I told my combatant commanders and field commanders … if you get calls from … the president, that's one thing. But if you get a call from some White House or National Security Council staffer, you tell them to call me instead, and then tell them, by the way, go to hell." Hagel also criticized Susan Rice's approach and subservience to Obama.
