Letitia James

Letitia James (born in 1958) is attorney general of New York State since 2019 and the perpetrator of a politically motivated witchhunt against Donald Trump. Since her declaration to run as attorney general of New York, she came after President Donald Trump, to engage in liberal lawfare and cancel culture games by trying to bankrupt Trump over false allegations of wrongdoing involving nonexistent business fraud.[1] James has publicly referred to the Trump administration as "male, pale, and stale."[2]

James is a driving force behind the New York exodus.[3]

In the case filed by Letitia James against President Trump there are no victims. There was no fraud. All of the lenders did their own due diligence. All of the loans were paid back without issue and the statement of financial condition was factual and accurate.

Additionally, the statute being used as the predicate for the case is a consumer fraud statute, intended to protect borrowers from predatory lenders. In the four corners of this case, Trump is the borrower, and the banks were the lenders. The New York attorney general flipped the statute to claim the borrower defrauded the lenders, despite the lenders denying there was any fraud and stating there was no harm.[4]

Andy McCarthy noted, "First of all this whole New York justice system is fraudulent in the sense that these are elected Democrats. She is an elected Democrat as who campaigned for office on a vow that she would use the power of the state to get him, which is a kind of a Soviet way of going about your business. The judge is an elected Democrat. So the whole system is not like what we have in the federal system where you have appointed prosecutors and appointed judges who are vetted by the Senate, at least in the hope that it will ensure that they won't use their power in an abusive way. In this system, they're actually electing people on a promise of going after individuals, individuals who happen to be their political enemies."[5]

In Nov 2023, James was caught smirking as Don Jr. takes the stand at Trump civil trial.[6]
