Facts for Farmers

Facts for Farmers was founded by Harold Ware,[1] head of the communist Ware group which infiltrated the U.S. Government in the early days of President Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal. The publication was intended to influence decision makers in the U.S. Agricultural Department and the AAA Administration, where many Ware group members worked.
The editor was Robert J. Coe. Coe also wrote for the CPUSA publication Political Affairs under the pseudonym Robert Digby, and was identified as a Soviet spy by defector Whittaker Chambers in 1939 to Undersecretary of Secretary of State Adolf Berle.[2]
