Valerie Jarrett is the most trusted senior adviser to president Barack Obama. According to Conservative Report, Jarrett was the key decision-maker on the night of the Benghazi attacks.[2]
Jarrett is the daughter-in-law of Vernon Jarrett, a prominent Chicago journalist who supported the aborted candidacy of former Vice-President Henry A. Wallace on the Progressive ticket in 1948.

Early and Personal Life
Jarrett was born Valerie June Bowman November 14, 1956 in Shiraz, Iran, to African-American parents James E. Bowman and Barbara Taylor Bowman. Her father was Chair of pathology at Nemazee Hospital in Iran. When Valerie was 5, her family moved to London for a year, and later to Chicago, in 1963.[3] In 1983 she married William Robert Jarrett, whom she had known since childhood, son of a Chicago Sun-Times reporter. When their daughter Laura was born, Jarrett switched to public service in an effort to do something that would make her proud. [4] She separated from Jarrett in 1987 and divorced in 1988.
Communist Background
Jarrett comes from a long lineage of marxist and communist family members and is the one responsible for "bringing the revolutionary communist Van Jones into the Administration six years ago.[5]"

Political career
Jarrett began her career in Chicago politics working for Mayor Harold Washington [7] as Deputy Corporation Counsel for Finance and Development.[8] She continued serving as Deputy Chief of Staff for Mayor Richard Daley. She was responsible for hiring Michelle Robinson, from a private law firm. Michelle was then engaged to Barack Obama.[9] She later served in other positions in Chicago. Immediately before joining the Obama administration, she was CEO of a real estate development company. She is one of three senior advisors to Obama.
