Ash Sarkar is a London-born far-left ideologue, "libertarian" (in her words) communist, anti-white and antisemitic racist, conspiracy theorist, woke segregationist,[2] and self-proclaimed "journalist". She is perhaps best known for defending antisemitic graffiti on the homes of Holocaust victims,[3] supporting white genocide,[2] boasting that her great-great aunt was a terrorist,[4] and responding to Piers Morgan's questioning by abusively shouting "I'm literally a communist, you idiot".[5] A prolific user of Twitter, her online content is characterized by foul language and verbal abuse.
She has been described as a "gobby child of privilege".[6] By her own admission, she has 'benefited' from her middle-class background.[7]
A supporter of the CCP regime in China, she praised the totalitarian, genocidal dictatorship for its efficiency.[8]
Early life
Ashna Sarkar was born in London in 1992 to a privileged middle-class family.[6][7] Sarkar's father is a Hindu and her mother a follower of the Pagan philosophy of Islam, with Sarkar sharing her mother's beliefs.[1] Sarkar's great-great aunt was Pritilata Waddedar (1911-1932), an early Indian revolutionary whose terrorist behavior Sarkar takes great pride in.[4]
History and lies
Ask Sarkar made an anti-white racist episode for Novara Media on 20 July 2015 titled "When Were White People Invented?", which featured Sarkar interviewing members of the public asking them the eponymous question.
On 9 September 2018, Sarkar defended anti-Israel graffiti on the walls of a Warsaw ghetto.[3]
On April 1, 2019, after Paul Embery tweeted that keeping free movement is a betrayal of "traditional working class voters", Sarkar made the racist reply "just say white",[9] an ironic remark seeing as the far-left regular accuse conservatives of "whitewashing".
On 10 December 2019, Sarkar wrote an article for far-left propaganda newspaper The Guardian claiming that the Labour Party had "not lost the working-class".[10] 2 days later, Jeremy Corbyn's Labour Party, of which many voters were middle-class champagne socialists, were beaten by the Conservatives for a second time, this time in a landslide as working-class voters ditched the Labour Party in record numbers.
In a Tweet posted on 19 March 2022, Sarkar lashed out at England Rugby Union fans in her usual woke style, marked by profanity, linking them to 'colonialism' for wearing pith helmets.[11]
Sarkar wrote an article on July 4, 2022, pushing the false conspiracy theory that pro-life campaigners and politicians want to take women back "to the Victorian era".[12]
On 24 April 2023, Sarkar defended her fellow far-left racist Diane Abbott, who had her Labour parliamentary whip removed after making comments described by Labour leader Keir Starmer as "antisemitic". She drew comparisons to other racist Labour MPs such as Rupa Huq, best known for describing Kwasi Kwarteng as "superficially black", and antisemite Steve Reed and said that Abbott should have her whip restored as a "matter of fairness".[13]
On 2 May 2023, during the run-up to the coronation of King Charles III, Sarkar hypocritically described the British Royal Family as "neither a fair nor representative institution", despite defending Meghan Markle, a privileged liberal elitist, in the same delusional rant.[14]
Ash Sarkar came under fire in late June 2023 for comments she made about the then-ongoing Titan submersible incident. On 23 June, Sarkar used the incident, in which it was later revealed that all 5 involved were killed, to claim that the rich "aren't being taxed enough".[15] When the death of all participants were confirmed, Sarkar described the tragedy as being "born of hubris" in a Tweet condemned as 'vile' by The Express.[16]
