The Earth Liberation Front (ELF) is a radical environmentalist terrorist organization that was founded in Brighton, England in 1992.[1] The ELF has been blamed by the federal government for vandalizing businesses which the group deems to act in ways that are damaging to the environment.
In September 2009, ELF took credit for toppling a radio tower Snohomish, Washington. ELF spokesman Jason Crawford was quoted as saying: "Due to the health and environmental risks associated with radio waves emitted from the towers, we applaud this act by the ELF." [2]
