Kate Louise Mitchell

Kate Louise Mitchell had been with the Institute of Pacific Relations (IPR) from 1933 to 1940 and was Secretary General Edward C. Carter's secretary and thereafter did research for the Institute. She was a lecturer at a Communist school in New York.[1] Mithchell was arrested during the FBI raid on IPR's Amerasia offices in June 1945 in which thousands of classified U.S. Government documents were recovered.
